785 8mil Universal Satin

This 190 gsm photo paper, available with either a gloss or satin finish, features two top-surface coatings. The first is a microporous skin to provide fast drying, instant handling, and excellent laminating/mounting characteristics with both dye and pigment inks. Underneath is a traditional swellable coating that helps produce prints with vivid colors and a robust gamut.

We’ve taken a highly opaque resin-coated photo base sheet and applied a water-resistant microporous coating to produce gloss and satin 195 gsm products that provide brilliant color saturation and instant handling. There’s no need to laminate for short-term applications, and a special back coat assures a flat sheet during printing, finishing and mounting.

This is a unique quick-dry, 8 mil. photobase with an almost luminous, velvety surface.  Excellent color saturation for both dye and pigment inks without bleeding or rub-off.  Try it as an eye-catching, low-cost alternative to back lit film.
